  A WORKING PRINCIPLE  
     
 

To feed & receive the stock from every Machine Buckets Elevators are used in Rice Mills.
It works on the basic principle of water extraction system from the wells in ancient days.
Stock is fed to the Hopper provided with the boot of the Elevator & Each bucket is filled turn-by-turn and lift the material to the top, where the material is throne into the head  of the Elevator. A plate is provided which guides the stock to the out let flow pipe.

 
     
  INSTALATION  
 
   
 
  1. Proper place should be kept around the boots of Elevators.
  2. Boot should be grouted & leveled.
  3. Trunks should be properly aligned with plumb line.
  4. After alignment it should be fastened with wire rope or other wise.
  5. A platform for working near head should be provided.
  6. Elevator bucket should be tightened properly with the help of belt tightener.

  OPERATION  
 
     
 

Before putting the machine into operation check the alignment. With the help of Pulmbline. Put the machine into gear without feed for some time & observe any noise. If any bucket strikes with the trunk, it means that the alignment is not proper. Please rectify. Open the shutter of feed to the hopper of the boot of Elevator. The buckets will lift the stock. See the condition of the lower pulley if some rice is coming from the back side trunk, it means the feed receiving flap is to be adjusted, it is necessary to adjust this flap, other wise the rice falling from the back trunk will be crushed in between pulley & bucked belt.

 
 
     
  MAINTENANCE  
 
     
 
  1. to all bearings Greasing should be done once in a month
  2. Lubrication oil of Gears should be changed after 4 months.
  3. Belt of buckets should be tightened when required.
  4. Stock receiving flap should be changed when it is worn out.
