  A WORKING PRINCIPLE  
     
 
The rice is fed through a feed regulator & is conveyed by a worm screw into the hexagonal chamber.
  1. The water mist is provided from the backside of hollow shaft. An eccentric cam roll rotates in the center of the chamber; the feed is compressed & expanded. The friction accurse & causes the removal of sticking layer of Bran from the rice. The degree of Milling can be controlled by  a counter weight  provided at the outlet of rice.
  2. The rice received after polish will have very smooth polished surface, shining and will look like the pearls.
 
     
  INSTALATION  
 
   
 
  1. Provide a suitable space around Mist Polisher for working & maintenance.
  2. The base of Mist Polisher must be stable (check with the level that the machine is perfectly horizontal. If the machine is operated in an inclined position, malfunction would accrue and full operating capacity /quality will be impeded).
  3. Secure the machine on the base with anchor bolts.
  4. The optimum installation place should allow unimpeded grain feeding for input and easy processing of discharged grain.
  5. Pay attention to each air hose and duct. Water pipe must have no leaking (there should be no leaking).
  6. Suction fan must be placed  1 to 2 meter apart  from the machine.
 
     
  PREPARATION BEFORE OPERATION  
 
     
 
  1. Check all nut bolts specially sieve frame bolts .
  2. Every part (especially screens) should be cleaned.
  3. The covers of both sides should be closed.
  4. The shutter should be closed.
  5. Run the machine without load for a short time and check for any noise, smell, heat etc.
  6. Check water level for water tank.
 
 
     
  OPERATION  
 
     
 
  1. Open the feeding shutter and adjust the resisting weight to the flow quantity required, frequently pay attention to ammeter, its reading should not show over 50A, if it is over 50A put the resisting weight near the pressure plate for reducing the pressure or close shutter. Other wise motor will stop for overload.
  2. Degree of Polishing should be raised gradually only in operation.
  3. The resisting weight must be kept without big swing.
  4. To high capacity will result in poor polishing of rice and more broken.
  5. Turn on water pump and adjust flow quantity of water according to the moisture content of rice. The water pressure should range from 1 to 3 Kg/cm2.
  6. Over 6 Kg/cm2 the pump will stop for overload. Switch off the pump, wait for one minute and relight.
  7.  The water pump will stop automatically if there is no rice, and it will start again when rice will come in.
 
 
     
  END OF OPERATION  
 
 
  1. Stop the water pump.
  2. Close the shutter.
  3. Open the pressure plate and let rice to come out.
  4. Open the covers of both sides and clean the sticking bran completely from the screens with the help of air gun.
  5. Stop the operating clean refiner.
 
 
     
  MAINTENANCE  
 
     
 
  1. It is very simple to replace the wearied parts to remove came rolls & worm, unscrew the nut provided at the drive shaft end. Pull the came roll & worm, out & replace it.
  2. To replace the worn out screens remove the side covers, un-screw 3 hexagonal nut bolts provided on upper side of the screen frame, Then pull cribs frame down  and change the screens. For re-assembling follow the opposite sequence.
  3. All bearings should be greased at least once in 6 months. Clean the nozzle when required.
